Create your own Customized Windows 7 OS

It can be difficult for common users to understand the complex process of creating an unattended installation disk (that requires for no manual interference during operating system installation), add custom wallpapers, themes, screensavers and other components to a Windows 7 disc. RT Se7en Lite is an application that simplifies the process of adding such features and creating an unattended installation disc/USB for Windows 7. Read on past the break for details on this useful little tool.
At startup, select a source for your Windows 7 installation package, e.g., an ISO file, and extract it to a destination folder. Make sure that you have ample space on your hard drive, as the Windows temp folder is also used by this application during the Windows 7 installation media creation process.
RT Seven Lite
Once done, the Task tab will become clickable. Head over to Task and select the changes that you wish to perform. Selecting each option will allow you to make changes in the respective tab. For example, when you click Un-Attended, the Un-Attended tab will become active. Other options include ISO Bootable, Customization (both being important options), followed by Un-Attended, Tweaks, Components and Integration (optional). For detailed instructions, you can also refer to the step by step guide on the right side of the program in Task.
Step 3
After selecting your desired features, click each respective tab and make appropriate changes. For example, you can add custom screensavers, themes, wallpaper, logon screen, gadgets, documents, sample, music. media sounds etc, from the Integration tab.
Step 4
Once you have made all configurations, head over to the ISO Bootable tab and select a burning option (Direct Burn, Create Image, Burn Image, Erase RW or USB Bootable). Click Make ISO to proceed further.
Create ISO
This will burn your custom image to the selected media device.

Hacking using USB drives

USB  universal serial bus is a well known secondary storage device. Can you think it is also used for hacking and stealing passwords. It plays same important role in hacking world like in every ordinary computer user's world.

So today we have posted a few interesting  and easy tricks to hack through USB. Could you think of a software which when installed on your USB disk and that disk is plugged on any computer silently copies all private information.

USBDumper is a cute little utility that silently copies the contents of an inserted USB drive onto the PC. The idea is that you install this piece of software on your computer, or on a public PC, and then you collect the files -- some of them personal and confidential -- from anyone who plugs their USB drive into that computer.

USB Switch blades:

It contains a malicious program that recovers information from windows system such as passwords, Hashes , IP Information , Browser history etc and also create the backdoor to the system for later access.

It can be used easily if attacker has physical access to target system. This uses windows autorun program to run it and steal information. If autorun feature is OFF it won't work otherwise it cant be detected by any antivirus program.
Specifically, how to do it:

Here is a rule being defined in FileSure Defend, blocking reading of program files, batch files, script files, (anything that could be malicious code) from any removable drive and applying the rule to all users.

Of course, you could choose specific files, things in a certain folder, different users or groups, times of day, or more to pinpoint exactly what you are trying to accomplish with the USB write block.

Whatever choice of security you choose, FileSure records the activity, can alert on it, reports on it and archives it centrally forever in an encrypted data store.
MYUSBONLY:

Lock the Bad Guys out of your USB ports with MyUSBOnly; Block Untrusted USB Memory Stick Activity in Office. Prevent data theft by blocking all but your trusted USB storage devices. Stop your files from walking away on thumb drives, mp3 players, flash cards and portable USB hard drives. Secretly log all USB connect, disconnect and files/folders copied, modified, deleted activity. Version 1.9 secretly logs all USB connects, disconnects, and files/folders copied, modified, deleted activity.

As the server is giving us trouble we are unavailable to upload the softwares. Though the above softwares can be easily downloaded from internet, just google it ......

How to make a windows bootable USB

We have covered a lot of ISO  manipulation tools, one of them being the Windows 7 USB/DVD Tool that creates a bootable DVD or USB device of Windows 8 by defining the ISO image. Another tool, WinSetupFromUSB, allows you to create a multi-boot setup from a folder containing the setup files. WinUSB Maker is yet another portable application that combines both of these applications into one. It can create and burn bootable ISO images to a USB drive, either by defining the setup folder or an ISO image. It supports devices up to one terabyte, including external hard disk drives.
The interface is very simple, with Setup Folder on the left and ISO Image radio button on the right side. The buttons to Browse, Refresh and select the USB drive to be made bootable are located in the center. Make it Bootable option is present in the lower right corner  of the interface.

WinUSB Maker v1.3
To create a bootable USB, select Setup Folder if the setup files are located inside a folder, or select ISO Image if the setup is in ISO format. Click Browse Setup Folder or Browse ISO Image to select the required files. If multiple USB drives are inserted in your PC, select the one that you want to make bootable from the drop down menu. If any drive is not available in the list, hit Refresh once. With all settings completed, click Make it Bootable to start the file copying process.
WinUSB Maker - Working ...
When the process is complete, a success message will pop up, and your bootable USB will be ready to be used.
WinUSB Maker - Done..

The Android OS is one of the most modern operating systems and is preferred by many people over other mobile OS like Symbian etc as it is faster and several applications can be run on it at a given time. The credit for development of android goes to Google which led the Open Handset Alliance that developed Android. Initially the Android codes were released under the Apache Licences by Google. It is a kind of free software license. Android is based on the ARM architecture hardware program. There are various languages in which applications and games for Android are developed which include java, the native development kit which is used to develop applications in C and C++ and the Google App Inventor. The software can also be run on any PC whether it has Android already installed or not, by using a live CD. This live CD was unveiled recently by Google. The Android software program can be run on your PC as well, by following the below given guidelines.

Difficulty level: Moderate
Time required: A few minutes
Resources required:
1. The live Android CD from Google
2. HJSplit
3. Virtualization software
4. Windows PC

10 interesting tricks to do with your USB sticks

USB Tricks
Various tricks possible with a USB
Carrying loads of data has never been so easy since the invention of USB drives. Portability, small size, and huge memory have made thumb drives the most evident device. Floppy and tape disks are obsolete now. But apart from its obvious functions, these sticks can be used for a multitude of other interesting tasks worth knowing.
1. Boot an operating system
A USB can allow you to carry an operating system on the drive and execute it on any PC. This function is known as Live USB. Various versions of Linux operating system are available that can be accommodated in a drive. The best available are Puppy Linux, Damn Small Linux, and Webconverger. Windows can also run from the stick; the ReadyBoost feature in Vista and Windows 7 are available for this.
2. Encrypt your drive
Technology innovations now provide an option to encrypt the flash drive when carrying sensitive data. A free program called TrueCrypt is the most recommended. Hardware level encryption can also be done, but will require extra cost. Another tool called Rohos Mini is also available for the same purpose. This will help create a secret partition on the drive and then encrypt the data for its protection. The PC accessing such a drive will require admin rights, thus restricting the usability.
3. Secure your PC
Your system can be safeguarded against unauthorized access by using a USB drive. A freeware, Predator, installed on the system makes the USB work like a card to lock a PC. Once the drive is connected, everything works normally but the system gets locked as soon as it is removed. Thus, here the USB works as a password key.
4. Run portable applications
Portable applications can be downloaded from Portable Apps website and installed onto the drive. These will automatically launch on connecting the drive. The portable applications are Mozilla Firefox, Open Office suite, and anti-virus software.
5. Browse the web without leaving a trace
Using the above stated Portable applications, you can easily surf web. No need to care about left traces of passwords, cookies, and history on the computer. Another way is to use a portable web server, like Server2Go, which supports Apache, PHP, MySQL, and Perl from the USB drive. It also supports all browsers and is compatible with all versions of Windows. Surely this will be extremely useful for a developer.
6. Connect to a wireless network
Carrying a USB drive doesn’t let you worry about losing wireless network settings. Wireless Network Setup Wizard in Windows XP and Windows Connect Now (WCN) in Vista are the utilities for saving wireless configuration on the drive and then connect to other wireless or WCN compatible devices like a computer or a printer.
7. Create a password reset disk
The password reset disk is very useful in cases when you forget the password of your user account on a Windows system not on the domain. A USB drive can be used as a password reset disk instead of the formerly used floppy disk. Windows Vista provides option of using drive in such a way.
8. Portable Jukebox & Portable MP3 player
Along with carrying your mp3 files you can also take the player with you to your office. Programs like CoolPlayer+ and portable edition of winamp can be installed on the drive and lets you play music on any system.
USB drive can also be used to build your own library of songs. Windows Media Player automatically detects the audio files and adds it to its library. Thus, your drive can also be used as an MP3 player.
9. Completely erase a computer
Erasing a computer is also possible just by your stick. Darik’s Boot and Nuke application can be carried on the drive and used for this purpose. EBAN is another higher level application used for erasing RAID arrays and multiple drives at the same time.
10. Use it as a fixed drive
Till now your drive is considered by the PC as removable. This limits its functionality as a memory device in comparison to the inbuilt ones in the computer. However, using your USB as a hard drive is possible using the utility BootIt.
